He-Feng Huang
Dr. He-Feng Huang is a reproductive medicine specialist, Academician of the Chinese National Academy of Sciences, a Fellow Honoris Causa of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of UK, Academician of the Academy of Sciences for Developing World.
She holds the titles of Chief Physician, Professor, and PhD Supervisor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Currently, she serves as the Dean of the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, the Dean of the International School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, and the Director of the Key Laboratory in Reproductive Genetics of the Ministry of Education.
After graduating from the former Zhejiang Medical University in 1982, she has dedicated her career to
obstetrics and gynecology, as well as reproductive medicine and genetics. Her research focuses on the mechanisms of developmental origins of health and diseases and precision prevention and control of genetic birth defects.
She is the first in the world to propose the hypothesis of gamete origin of diseases and has conducted groundbreaking research on the intergenerational and transgenerational genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of paternal/maternal originated diseases. She has established international cooperative health life trajectory cohorts for multicenter cluster randomized interventions in childhood obesity spanning pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and infancy, as well as birth cohorts for assisted reproductive technologies.
By integrating innovations in reproductive and genetic technologies with clinical translations, she aims to reduce the risk of chronic diseases from the very beginning of life and prevent the transmission of genetic birth defects.
She has made numerous achievements, including the National Award for the Advancement of Science and Technology that she received in 2010 and 2021, respectively, the highest honor bestowed upon researchers and scientists in China. She has published more than 350 papers and trained more than 200 post graduate students.

Wei-Lin Wang
Dr.Weilin Wang is a National Outstanding Physician. He currently serves as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutic Sciences of Zhejiang University, President of the SAHZU HBP Surgery Hospital, Director of the Institute of Surgical Research of Zhejiang University, Director of the Key Laboratory for Precision Diagnosis & Treatment of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Tumors in the Province, and Director of Zhejiang Provincial Research Center for Diagnosis and Treatment Technology of Liver Cancer. Concurrently, he serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Chairman of the Tumor Surgery Branch of the Zhejiang Province Medical Association and Designated Chairman of the Surgery Branch of the Zhejiang Province Medical Association. He had served as president of both the First Affiliated Hospital and Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2015-2025. His research focuses on precision diagnosis & treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors, liver transplantation and combined organ transplantation. As corresponding author, he has published over 200 papers in journals including Nat Nanotechnol, Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He had led major national research programs including the Key Programs of National Science and Technology, 973 Program, and Key Program of the NSFC. He was honored with numerous awards including the National Award for Excellence in Innovation, First Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, First Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the National Science and Technology Innovation Team Award.
Shu Qiang
Dr.Shu Qiang, chief physician, professor of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery, doctoral supervisor, Zhejiang University Qiushi Distinguished doctor,Director of National Clinical Research Center For Child Health , Vice Chairman of the Pediatric Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association. He is also the Editor-in-chief of World Journal of Pediatrics and World Journal of Pediatric Surgery.Professor Shu Qiang has been engaged in the field of pediatric congenital heart surgery for more than 30 years. He has a high level of expertise in the surgical treatment of critical congenital heart disease, heart transplantation, and comprehensive treatment of advanced heart failure in children.

Zhi-Min Lu
Dr. Zhi-Min Lu is professor and Dean of Institute of Translational Medicine at Zhejiang University in China. He was recruited by Zhejiang University in 2019 after his service at MD Anderson Cancer Center for more than 16 years. He was elected as a fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2017 and a foreign member of Academia Europaea in 2021.
Lu’s milestone discoveries include demonstration of the protein kinase activity of metabolic enzymes, discovery of protein phosphatase activity of metabolic enzymes, and revelation of the instrumental, non-metabolic functions of metabolic enzymes and metabolites in tumorigenesis.
He has published more than 160 research articles in top peer-reviewed journals, and about 80 of these papers, as a corresponding author, were published in Cell, Nature, Cancer Cell, Nature Cancer, Nature Cell Biology, Cancer Discovery, Cell Metabolism, Molecular Cell, Nature Metabolism, Nature Structural and Molecular Biology, Nature Chemical Biology, Science Advances, Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology, Nature Reviews Cancer, Annual Review of Biochemistry, Trends in Cell Biology, Trends in Cancer, and Trends in Biochemical Sciences.
Lu has received several awards, including The Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, in 2022, Wuxi AppTec Life Science and Chemistry Outstanding Achievement Award in 2022, the Dallas/Fort Worth Living Legend Faculty Achievement Award in Basic Research in 2016, the Potu N. Rao Award for Excellence in Basic Science in 2013, the MD Anderson Faculty Scholar Award in 2011, and the Peter Steck Memorial Young Investigator Award in 2008.
Fu-Qiang Hu
Hu Fuqiang, Ph.D., is a professor at Zhejiang University and a doctoral supervisor. Currently, he serves as the deputy director of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of Zhejiang University and the director of the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Preparation Technology of Zhejiang University. He has long been dedicated to the research of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmaceutics. He has presided over 11 national projects. He is among the top 2% of the world's most influential scientists and a Highly Cited Chinese Scholar in pharmacy. He has established 5 national standards and edited or co-authored 6 textbooks. He has won 2 second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. He serves as an expert for international discipline evaluations such as Times and QS, and is currently a member of the Committee of Pharmaceutical Preparations of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, a standing director of the Chinese Society of Particles, and an expert reviewer for talent, projects, and awards of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Education. He is also an external expert for the National Drug Evaluation and a member of the editorial boards of journals such as European Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutics, Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica.
